ABOUT THE OWNERS
Co-Founder/CEO: Leah Curran Moon is a PhD, a dancer and a performance artist. Leah pivoted out of a career in academia to dive head first into the vegan food business. Leah is vegan for the animals.
Co-Founder/COO: Michael Jantz Moon is a musician (Michael has toured with Paul Simon & Brian Wilson and opened for Train, Black Crowes, Space Hog, BB King and even Barry Manilow!) and an event professional. Michael transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle after an especially egregious holiday season eight years ago.
Co-Owner: Stephen is a cultural strategist, entrepreneur and change agent committed to creative inquiry, social justice and transformational development. Stephen serves as Creative Producer with Dance Exchange and is delighted to partner with Leah and Michael on their vision for DC Vegan.
Co-Founder & Sweet Girl: Lentil Bean Moon is the smallest member of the family. She loves to play ball and knows the names of all her toys.
